Sleep Music Alarm ("the App") and its official website ("the Website") respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data the App and the Website collect and how it is used. Website-specific information is mainly in Sections 11 and 12.
The App uses Apple's HealthKit framework to provide the following features:
HealthKit data is processed entirely on your device. It is never sent to external servers, stored remotely, shared with third parties, or used for advertising purposes.
The App uses location data for the following purposes:
Location is collected at reduced accuracy (approximate location only). Location data is held in temporary memory on your device and is not stored persistently or transmitted externally.

These services may collect device information (device model, OS version, etc.) and IP address for ad delivery. Personalized ads are only served when you have given consent.
For users in the EEA (European Economic Area), data collection is enabled only after explicit consent, managed through the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).

On iOS 14.5 and later, the App requests your permission before accessing the device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized advertising. You can decline without affecting any app functionality.
If you provide personal information such as your email address when contacting us, it will be used solely to respond to your inquiry and for no other purpose.
When you use the in-app bug report feature, your form responses, app version, OS and device information, and diagnostic logs are transmitted solely to investigate the issue and respond to your inquiry. Diagnostic logs may include in-app identifiers, settings, and information about actions performed in the App. HealthKit data and location data are not included in bug reports.
Bug report data is stored using Google Firebase and is used only for as long as necessary to investigate and respond to the report. To request deletion of this data, please contact us using the form at the end of this page.
Your personal information will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law. We may engage service providers such as Google Firebase to store and process data for the purposes described in this policy. In addition, when you browse the Website or use its contact form, the information described in Sections 11 and 12 is sent to Google.
App data such as alarm settings, sleep records, and alarm history is normally stored in a local database on your device. The App stores the IDs, titles, channel names, and thumbnails of your selected YouTube videos, playlists, and channels on your device for alarms and favorites.
If iCloud backup is enabled, app data, including the YouTube information described above, may be backed up to Apple's servers. See Section 6 for information transmitted when you submit a bug report and Section 9 for communications when using YouTube API Services.
The App uses YouTube API Services, including the YouTube embedded player and YouTube Data API. For information about how YouTube (Google) handles your information, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy.
To determine whether a video is a live stream and check playlist contents, the App sends video and other content IDs to the YouTube Data API through the operator's server. The results are temporarily stored (cached) on the server by ID. This cache does not store information that identifies users.
The App does not use YouTube authorization data obtained through Google Account sign-in (OAuth).
During playback through the embedded player, YouTube (Google) may use cookies or similar technologies to store information on, or read information from, your device. Content served by YouTube, including ads within videos, may also be displayed.
The App and the Website do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
The Website uses Google Analytics to understand how the Website is used and to improve it. Using cookies, information such as the pages you view, your actions on the Website, and details about your device and browser is sent to Google.
For more information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. In supported browsers, you can turn off this measurement with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
If your device's time zone indicates that you may be in the EEA (European Economic Area), the UK, or Switzerland, Google Analytics is not loaded unless you accept. Your choice is stored in your browser for 180 days, and you can change it at any time using "Cookie Settings" at the bottom of the page. Because this is based on your time zone, it may not match your actual location.
The Website uses Google Fonts to display text. When fonts are loaded, information such as your IP address is sent from your browser to Google. For more information, see the Google Fonts FAQ (Privacy).
The contact form on the Website asks for your name, email address, and message, which are used to respond to your inquiry as described in Section 6. A session cookie is used to limit repeated submissions.
The form uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. Your IP address and information about your browser are sent to Google, and cookies may be used. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
This policy may be updated without prior notice. Any changes will take effect when posted on this page.
